1. Admission Plan

Enrollment plan for full-time undergraduate students is 40. (See Attachment 1 for list of majors）

2. Basic Admission Requirements

1) Good physical and mental health

2) Senior high school diploma (this year’s graduate should submit diploma at the latest when register)

3) Starting from the 2026 academic year, applicants must take the "China Scholastic Competency Assessment Test" (CSCA Test) before submission, with scores being a mandatory part of our admission review.

4) Language requirement: HSK 4 ≥180.

5) Under the age of 30

6) Complies with the regulations of the Ministry of Education’s document [2020] No.12.

3. Application Schedule

December 1^st 2025 to May 31^st 2026

4. Application Documents

1) Valid passport, applicants in China are required to provide residence permit page

2) Original or notarized senior high school transcript and diploma (current graduates need to provide a pre-graduation certificate), non-Chinese or non-English versions must be accompanied by notarized Chinese or English translations.

3) Scan of the CSCA Test results.

Applicants for Chinese Language and Literature undergraduate program who provide a valid HSK 4 certificate with a score of 180 or above are exempt from the subject Humanities Chinese of the CSCA Test.

4) Personal Resume or CV (See Attachment 2 for the template)

5) Language Certificate (HSK certificates, etc)

6) Valid medical certificate (See Attachment 3 for the template)

7) Certificate of Non-criminal Record

8) Financial statement

9) Other supporting materials (such as award certificates, recommendation letters, etc.)

Note:

a. Applications with incomplete materials will not be accepted.

b. In addition to the above-mentioned materials, supplementary materials may be required by the situation.

5. How To Apply

Step 1: Register and fill in personal information and scholarship application form in the Online System https://appghc.sicau.edu.cn

Step 2: Submit application documents.

Step 3: Pay application fee: RMB 600/ U.S. Dollar 90 (non-refundable)

Two ways of payment:

(1) Pay at the International Student Office of SAU.

(2) Bank transfer, with the payment vouchers submitted to the online application system. Bank details are as follows:

6. Admission Results

Shortlisted applicants must pass a video interview. Results will be published on the university website and notified via email. Applicants may also check their status through the Online Application System.

7. Scholarships

International students can apply for university scholarship, the standard is tuition waiver. Additionally, 10 outstanding freshmen will be selected to receive the first-class academic scholarship (RMB 6,000/year), while the remaining freshmen will receive the third-class academic scholarship (RMB 2,000/year).

Students can also apply for Sichuan Government Scholarship (SGS) ，Chengdu Government Sister-Cities Scholarships ，Chengdu Government “The Belt and Road” Scholarship.

8. Costs

1) Application fee (Non-refundable): RMB 600 (90 US dollar for overseas payment)

2) Tuition fee: RMB 12000/year (Tuition can be waived for scholarship students)

3) Accommodation

Notes:

a. Bedding is not provided and needs to be purchased separately.

b. Each room is allocated a monthly quota for water and electricity, and any excess usage will be charged separately.

4) Other costs

Insurance: RMB 800/year

Residence Permit: RMB 400/year

Textbooks: RMB 700/year

Physical Examination: RMB 500
