The delegation firstly visited the laboratories of Rice Research Institute.Li Weitao, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and deputy director of the Rice Research Institute, accompanied the delegation to visit, and explained the situation of rice genetic breeding, rice variety cultivation, disease prevention and control by the relevant teachers.The delegation members engaged in detailed exchanges with the faculty and students of the Rice Research Institute and reached preliminary cooperation intentions.
After visiting the university history exhibition hall, the delegation held a cooperation meeting with SAU,which was chaired by Chen Qing, Deputy Director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange. Lu Yanli first expressed a warm welcome the delegation's arrival and then briefly introduced the school to the guests in the form of the video.She stated that this year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Malaysia. The two governments have introduced relevant policies to upgrade the level of educational cooperation between China and Malaysia, promote the exchange of visits between teachers and students, and constantly enhance mutual learning among civilizations.
